THE STABLES

FEE - $75/per horse/per night the spacious horse stables have 10, 11 ft. x 11 ft. with well-lit stalls We have 3 pastures, turn out is determined on an individual basis. Please CALL AHEAD TO CHECK STALL AVAILABILITY.  The stalls are dirt, please bring your own bedding.

PRIDE IN PROPERTY

Please keep your stalls clean during your stay, wheel barrel is provided. Before leaving, please clean up the pasture if your horses have their own private turn out. 

HAY & FEED

You must bring your own hay and feed. Water is available, please bring water buckets for your stalls.  

• You are responsible for the safety and welfare of all your riders and horses.
• Report problems immediately.
• Do not assume someone else has noticed and already reported a broken door, fence that needs repair, or a horse that appears to be sick or injured.
• If you see something wrong or that concerns you, please contact Tiffany Light at 315.777.5462.
• Do not feed other horses unless you specifically have permission from a horse owner.
• Do not feed treats to horses without the owner's permission.
•  ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE STABLES.
• Horses will be ridden and or handled by OWNERS and their IMMEDIATE family members ONLY.
• Guests are responsible for their own horse's maintenance.  This includes mucking of stalls, sweeping or raking up, picking up equipment, turning off aisle lights and returning gates and doors to their original positions.
• A visual check of fence and gate is required by everyone before any horse is to be turned out. Turnout is at owner's risk.
• Trailside Ranch reserves the right to ask guests to remove their animal(s) from the property.
• Trailside Ranch is not responsible for any theft, damage, loss of use, vandalism, natural disaster or other loss that might occur to your tack, trailer or horse.

• Because we do have permanent resident horses that are on a schedule, please speak with the ranch hosts to make arrangements for turnout time.  
• Should you have an unruly horse that is unkind to other horses, please expect to keep the horse stalled for the protection and safety of the other horses. 

Trailside Ranch takes the safety of our resident and guest horses very seriously. In order for us to keep the horses on the property safe and healthy, we require the following medical documentation from a licensed veterinarian:   

• A current health certificate.  
• A copy of a current Negative Coggins report.     
• Vaccine records reflecting the following vaccinations - Rabies, Strangles, and Flu/Rhino.     
• Vaccinations must be in your horse's system NO LESS THAN 7 days prior to arrival and NO LONGER than 90 days from the vaccination date.  

Please email all requested records to trailside.ny@gmail.com. ATTN: Stable Manager, Makena Kilmer. In the subject line, indicate 'Vaccination Records - (reservation name)' ​All records must be provided 7 DAYS PRIOR to your arrival. If we do not receive all documentation prior to your arrival, you WILL NOT be allowed to stable your horse on our property
